    The first half of the show was Dumb and Dumber about Tesla, full of half truths and negativity that is typical online The second half was characterised by jaw drops at the “revelations” from a Tesla bull and not a particularly bullish Tesla bull. Finally the $56 billion Elon was awarded was only about $2US billion at the time it was initially booked, it became $56 billion due to the companies market cap rising so much. And Elon doesn’t want the money for X He wants it for MARS!

    This is the classic "if" this happens "then" this happens idea. In reality, Tesla is a car company valued as a tech company and is overvalued.

  • @CafeEnergy
    @CafeEnergy 2 дні тому

    This is so far off the mark I don’t even know where to start. The stock is massively overvalued. What is the justification for Tesla MC (600b) being over 2x that of the next largest auto manufacturer Toyota? Self drive is vaporware, for almost a decade Musk has been claiming it’s coming ‘in a year’ or some similar time frame, yet it hasn’t materialised. It hasn’t gotten significantly better and some users argue it has gotten worse after recent updates. Energy storage represents less than 10% of revenue for Tesla, its a minor part of their business and I can’t see them being capable of scaling their manufacturing fast enough to even approach the valuations being discussed here. What about Tesla Semi? Where is it? Elon assured investors that they’d produce 50,000 Tesla semis by 2024, yet they’ve made less than 200, including around 100 which are owned by Tesla themselves. I cannot for the life of me understand how anyone can still have faith in Elon to deliver anything. He’s desperate for them to be viewed as a ‘tech’ company because if they’re just a car company their valuation is ludicrous, yet they don’t actually have any ‘tech’ to back it up.

    Superannuation scam people because this is NOT what workers have when they retire Most superannuation funds primarily invest in shares. Ordinary Australians can do the same thing by setting up a brokerage account and buying shares with their spare money. At retirement age, investors are typically focused on generating passive income. So, they tend to invest in ASX dividend shares, preferably with full franking. As we've reported, if you invested $5,000 per year in ASX shares from age 20 to 67, you could have a retirement income portfolio of $1.5 million delivering a passive income stream of $100,000.

    Part of the issue is that the government hasn't done anything to encourage life in other places. When you think southern hemisphere, you think Sydney, then Melbourne. And that's it. The government has made no effort to push the other major cities. and they've done even less to push the smaller coastal cities like Port Mac, Coffs, etc. They just keep unloading the immigrants into the 2 major cities and say "here's the better life you wanted". And that life is just them joining the rest of us in bloodshed of trying to find a rental, and if you are lucky enough, trying to secure some $1.5m shit hole as your "forever home". What a fucking joke of a country. I am already making plans to leave. I won't be in Sydney in a year. Hoping to be out by Jan/Feb.

    This "expert" Matt Barrie is dumb. Why does a small country like Switzerland (which has no direct access to sea) have one of the highest real estate prices and GPD per capita in the world? Why does a tiny country like Monaco (which does not produce nor export anything) have one of the highest real estate prices in the world? Why does Hong Kong (surrounded by polluted waters, no freedom of speech and governed by the dodgy Chinese government) have one of the highest real estate prices in the world? There are many reasons why a city might be expensive... opportunities, lifestyle, government policies, education, raising kids, safety etc.
